Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Bettina Anderson, drew considerable attention at a lavish wedding celebration in Udaipur after joining Bollywood star Ranveer Singh for an impromptu dance to a hit Hindi song. The couple were attending the sangeet ceremony of Netra Mantena — daughter of US billionaires Padmaja and Rama Raju Mantena — and Vamsi Gadiraju, co-founder and CTO of Superorder. The three-day festivities began on Friday, 21 November, in the lake city, known for hosting extravagant destination weddings.
The sangeet, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, featured high-profile performances from several Bollywood stars, including Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Varun Dhawan. The standout moment came when Ranveer brought Trump Jr. and Anderson onto the stage to dance to his song “What Jhumka?” from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Guests erupted in excitement as the actor playfully encouraged the pair to join in. A video of the sequence has since gone viral, showing them dancing together before Ranveer transitioned into the popular Hindi track.
Bettina Anderson wore a striking gold lehenga-choli for the evening, while Ranveer appeared in a black formal suit. The actor continued to entertain attendees, leading a group performance to “Aankh Maare” from Simmba and singing “Apna Time Aayega” from Gully Boy.
The wedding itself is expected to host around 600 guests across various iconic Udaipur venues, including The Leela Palace, Zenana Mahal, and Jagmandir Island Palace. Alongside leading Indian artists, international stars Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber are also slated to perform during the celebrations.
Bride Netra Mantena hails from a prominent Orlando-based family, while groom Vamsi Gadiraju is a Columbia University alumnus and a 2024 Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree. His company, Superorder, is a fast-growing software platform designed to help multi-location restaurants streamline delivery and takeaway services.
The grand celebrations will conclude on 23 November with an evening reception.
