Vaishnaw's announcement was shared on X drew by an account to which a user commented asking Nothing CEO Carl Pei to help create low cost industrial design phones in India.
The user's tweet read, "Indian government needs to consult Carl Pei to create low-cost industrial design phones with vanilla Android. Need help Carl Bhai."
To the surprise of many, Carl Pei responded promptly, expressing his willingness to contribute. The OnePlus co-founder replied, "Happy to help!"
