An X user recently tweeted a series of photos featuring popular vlogger Nas Daily alongside prominent figures in the cryptocurrency world who have recently been implicated in legal cases - and Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath - implying that the YouTuber may be a harbinger of bad luck.
The snapshots showcased Nuseir Yassin (Nas), in the company of FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (aka CZ), and Kamath with a cryptic caption: "Buckle up gang" - an implicit nod towards Kamath's apparent future downfall.
The Zerodha co-founder, however, proved to be more than ready for the banter. Kamath, who had attended a NAS Summit organized by Nas Daily, where the photo was from, responded with a witty retort. He posted a snapshot of Nas with Microsoft founder and one of the richest men in the world Bill Gates, accompanied by the caption: "There's some hope at least," complete with crossed fingers and heartbreak emojis.

This exchange sparked a flurry of reactions from netizens, with comments ranging from disbelief to amusement. While some speculated on Nas's purported "ill-luck", common sentiment was evident in the disbelief that Nikhil Kamath had actually responded to the banter.
“Tell me this is a parody account,” one user commented. “No way bro replied lol,” wrote another. A third wrote: “Nikhil sir just replied to this? Afraid of downfall.”
In the backdrop of this Twitter exchange is the NAS Summit, where Kamath shared insights into his content creation journey and his approach to podcasting. "Every subject that I make a podcast about is an industry that I am considering investing in," he explained. Kamath hosts ‘WTF is with Nikhil Kamath’, a podcast that has aired 12 episodes so far with big names from startups, fashion, retail and fintech making appearances.
Binance founder CZ stepped down from his CEO role from the largest crypto exchange in the world after pleading guilty to breaking US anti-money laundering laws while Bankman-Fried, 31, was arrested in the Bahamas this year and was found guilty of "one of the biggest financial frauds in American history".
Zhao has agreed to a $4.3 billion settlement deal in a US court, including a personal payout of $50 million to resolve the matter. Bankman-Fried, on the other hand, faces up to 110 years in prison.
Nikhil Kamath, 37, is worth more than a billion dollars and has pledged 50% of his wealth to charity.
