Madelaine Brockway, a 26-year-old car dealership heiress from South Florida, is making waves on the internet after documenting her five-day Parisian wedding with her longtime boyfriend Jacob LaGrone. From an intimate Maroon 5 concert to an overnight stay at the Palace of Versailles, Brockway’s nuptials are being deemed as the “wedding of the century”.
Brockway documented her grand wedding on TikTok with several videos and pictures going insanely viral on social media. The couple tied the knot on November 18 and their nuptials costed a whopping $59 million, which is approximately Rs 4,91,55,70,250. The internet was both shocked and in awe over the royal splurge.
The unbelievable cost of the five-day wedding made social media users wonder about who sponsored it. Everyone figured it was likely her parents. While her father Bob Brockway is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Ussery Automotive Group, her mother Paula Brockway is the Vice President at the Coral Gables branch of Mercedes Benz in Florida.
Ussery Automotive Group made headlines in August for selling two of its locations for a total of $150 million profit, according to Daily Mail.
Brockway met her husband after moving to Texas from Miami, Florida. The couple started dating in March 2020. As per LaGrone’s LinkedIn account, he worked for the Country Music Association as a talent coordinator He also served as a production assistant for country singer Jason Aldean.

According to reports, the lavish celebrations began with a bachelorette week at the luxurious Amangiri resort in Canyon Point, Utah. The couple and their friends then flew to Paris days before their nuptials.
In Paris, the grandeur started with a lunch at the Chanel store and headed to the Palace of Versailles for a private tour the next day. The couple stayed at the Le Grand Contrôle hotel in the Palace where rooms start at $2,400 per night but go up to $14,200 depending on the type and size.
The rehearsal dinner took place at the Paris Opera House and the building was decorated with hundreds of flowers for the occasion.
While the location of the actual wedding is not known, according to videos shared by posts by guests, it looked like the celebrations were held outdoors in a garden with views of the Eiffel Tower.
Maroon 5 with Adam Levine as the headliner performed as the couple enjoyed their first dance together as husband and wife.
Social media users had several opinions about the lavish expenditure and grand wedding of Madelaine Brockway. While some thought it was "dreamy", others called it a "royal waste of money".
