The final leg of the awards season, the Oscars, were organised at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday. And then come the parties. Once the Oscars are wrapped up, there are various after-parties that are graced by Hollywood stars all over Los Angeles. Stars put their best fashion foot forward and celebrate one of the biggest entertainment events on the calendar.
So, when Canadian actor Simu Liu took to X to share a post about the food that was served at some of the Oscars after-parties, it obviously went viral and grabbed a lot of attention. According to Liu, there was a variety of delectable food items served at the Governor’s Ball, one of the biggest parties after the Academy Awards. From wood-fired pizzas and Wagyu beef to sliders and peking duck, the ball literally had it all. This year, Master chef Wolfgang Puck also celebrated an Oscar milestone as he marked his 30th year of catering the event.
“Food at the afterparties: gov ball - insane. wood-fired pizzas, paella, wagyu, sliders, PEKING DUCK?!? did nothing but inhale food the whole time,” Liu wrote on X.
Now, coming to the much talked about Vanity Fair Oscar party. Delicious in-n-out burgers were served on tap to the guests. “Vanity Fair - in-n-out burgers on tap. Can’t go wrong.”
Liu, who essayed the role of Shang-Chi in Marvel's "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings", also talked about the food that was served at an exclusive Oscars after-party that was co-hosted by Madonna. According to him, the pop sensation had a range of Indian delicacies served to the guests that included samosas, naan, curry and rice. "Madonna - full spread of curry, rice, naan and samosas. Yum!!" he wrote.

"In case it wasn't obvious, your boy was ravenous coming off the Oscars performance," he wrote in a separate tweet, a nod to his performance at the 96th Academy Awards with Ryan Gosling.
For the unversed, Gosling performed "I'm Just Ken" from his movie "Barbie" at the Oscars, wearing an all-pink outfit. He was accompanied by 65 other "Kens", Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash and musician Mark Ronson.
