Founder sells luxury watch, receives Kashmiri walnuts, rajma in return. Wholesome post

A man’s wholesome experience while selling his watch to a stranger in Kashmir has garnered lots of love on social media. Deepak Abbot, the co-founder of Indiagold, was looking to sell a pre-owned multisport GPS watch. He had shared a post regarding the same in December. Abbot found a buyer and also had a heartwarming encounter.

The now-viral post was shared by Abbot on X (formerly Twitter). In the previous tweet, he had attached pictures of the pre-owned luxury watch that he was selling for a reasonable price. “Anyone looking to buy a pre-owned Garmin Fenix 7x Solar Sapphire? Ping me if interested. Available at an extremely good price,” he had written.

In an update to the same, Abbot mentioned that the watch was purchased by a person in Srinagar. No money was exchanged but the person sent a huge packet of Kashmiri walnuts and rajma packets as a gift. Abbot wrote that he was absolutely touched by the gesture.

“Sold this to someone in Srinagar. It was a pure commercial deal (with an unknown person) BUT he sent me a huge packet of Kashmiri walnuts and rajma packets as a gift. Have no words for such goodness and thoughtfulness. Touched,” he wrote in the post.

The post went viral with over 35,000 views and hundreds of comments from social media users who were moved by the stranger’s kindness too.

“Good people are everywhere great people are God send,” a user wrote. Another user commented, “So sweet! These are the unexpected things that make your day.”

A third user remarked, “Such heartwarming stories keeps me hopeful about humanity.”

“The world needs more of such thoughtful gestures,” a fourth user added.
