Angry Birds Star Wars: Rovio's 'best launch' yet

The immensely popular Angry Birds game has yet another new version. The latest edition of the game is called Angry Birds Star Wars. According to Rovio within 2.5 hours of the game's launch, the app soared to No 1 position in the US App Store.

The Finnish gaming company goes on to declare that Angry Birds Star Wars is their "biggest and best launch yet." The game is available for multiple platforms - iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Windows and Mac. 

A month-and-a-half ago Rovio launched Bad Piggies, in the pigs which strike back at the birds who attacked them with slingshots in Angry Birds.

Earlier in March this year Angry Birds Space was launched. There was also an Angry Birds Heikki game in between and the birds also travelled to Mars.
