The Vidarbha Cricket Association stadium at Jamatha near here witnessed a Bollywood event performed during the break of the India vs South Africa World Cup match this evening.

As soon as Munaf Patel, the last Indian batsman departed, Abhishek Bachchan along with Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu, Prateek, Rana Daggubati and Rohan Sippy moved into the lush green flood-lit stadium to launch title track of their Hindi movie ''Dum Maaro Dum'', being released on April 22.

The actors danced to the tune of a popular number for few seconds and waved to the cheering crowd as cricket fans responded.

This was perhaps for the first time when Bollywood actors descended on a cricket field for a film promo.
