Israel is heading to a "full offence" against the Gaza Strip, according to Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, as intermittent confrontations with Hamas militants in southern Israel continue for a fourth day.

To the soldiers on the Gaza border, Gallant declares, "I have released all the restraints, we have [regained] control of the area, and we are moving to a full offence."

"You will be able to alter this place's reality. You have observed the costs [that are] incurred, and you will soon witness a shift. The shift that Hamas sought in Gaza will be 180 degrees from what it anticipated, according to Gallant.

According to Johan Forssell, Sweden's minister of development, the country has temporarily stopped providing aid to the Palestinian territories.

Denmark has also said that it will stop providing help.

A day after the European Commission appeared to backtrack on a statement that it intended to halt "all payments" to Palestinians as a result of Hamas's assault on Israel, EU foreign ministers have called an urgent conference to examine financial decisions.

In the past they use their own population as human shields. They have threatened to execute the hostages so it's going to be very complicated. At least fourteen to fifteen rockets fired into northern Israel from Lebanon have been intercepted, according to a statement released by the Israeli Air Force. "Approximately 15 rockets were launched from Lebanese territory after the original notification involving firing in northern Israel. Four rocket launches were successfully deflected by the IAF aerial defence system. Ten launches failed in open spaces, according to the statement.

"...We were a team of 10 people...We woke up to the noise of a massive blast at 6:30 a.m. The hotel siren was blaring. The hotel staff told us to head to the basement that had bunkers. We went inside the bunker but could hear the noises of missiles and explosions. Later we came out into the lobby and could see rockets in the air. It was a heart-rending scene...I thank the organisers, it is due to their courage we could come out of there...When we were en route (to the airport), we saw burnt vehicles, pits on roads and Police presence. According to three security officials who spoke to Reuters, a series of rockets was shot on Tuesday from southern Lebanon into Israel. This was the third day in a row of fighting along the Israeli-Lebanese border since Hamas started an attack on southern Israel on Saturday.

“We are facing a brutal war here and everything is being destroyed in bombarded in a matter of seconds. We are paying the price of this conflict as civilians are being targeted,” Lubna Nazir Shaboo, an Indian from Jammu & Kashmir living in Gaza, told PTI over the phone.

In the midst of its continuing conflict with the Palestinian terrorist organisation Hamas, the Israeli military went on X to warn residents of Tel Aviv that incoming missiles were possible and that "Sirens sounding."

The Israel Defence Forces posted on X, "Sirens sounding in Tel Aviv and throughout Israel."

Palestinian authorities and Egyptian security sources have reported that Israeli shelling earlier today targeted the region of the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip.
