Discussing innovative ideas to spark the next wave in technology, hundreds of IIT alumni across the world have gathered at the PAN IIT Global Leadership Conference 2015 in the US.

Discussing innovative ideas to spark the next wave in technology, hundreds of IIT alumni across the world have gathered at the PAN IIT Global Leadership Conference 2015 in the US.

Formed by US-based alumni from all the IITs, the three-day conference started on Friday in California.Close to 4000 people from various IITs, foreign universities and corporations are attending this event, the organisers said in a communique, adding that they arepromoting innovative ideas to spark the next wave in technology, transformational technology, women IITians, mentorship, networking and giving back to IITs.

The event has keynote speeches and panel discussions with Noble laureates, Forbes billionaires, Fortune 100 CEOs and CEOs of many Silicon Valley start-ups participating in them.

Noted IIT alumni speakers include Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures and Sun Microsystems, Bharat Desai founder of Syntel and Romesh Wadhwani founder of Symphony Technology Group.
