    Govt to beautify Yercaud

    The government is planning to beautify Yercaud hill station at a cost of about Rs 15 crore, two State ministers said.

    The government is planning to beautify Yercaud hill station at a cost of about Rs 15 crore, two State ministers said.

    At the valedictory function of the 36th Yercaud Flower show yesterday, Highways & Small Harbours minister Edapadi Palaniswamy said the government would spend about Rs 12.3 crore in laying new roads around the hill resort.

    Tourism Minister Buthi Chandran said Rs 3.30 crore would be spent on widening the Yercaud lake and Tharamangalam Kailasi Nathar temple and Sangagiri fort.
