DMK chief M Karunanidhi today alleged CBI was trying to prove false reports about Kanimozhi in the 2G spectrum allocation scam case and said there was no problem in DMK-Congress ties.

In his interaction with reporters on his return from Delhi, where he met Kanimozhi in Tihar jail, Karunanidhi said his daughter was shut in the prison in a "inhuman manner".

He said Kanimozhi was suffering from blisters and swelling on her body.
Kanurnanidhi said the allegations against Kanimozhi were based on "false" reports in the press and alleged that CBI was trying to prove those reports.

Karunanidhi said he had been to Delhi to meet Kanimozhi, former Telecom Minister A Raja and Kalaignar TV CEO Sharad Kumar, adding Kumar was weak.

Asked about relations between DMK and Congress, he said "there is no problem" in the ties.

On the issue of the Prime Minister being brought under Lokpal, Karunanidhi said DMK had even included Chief Minister in an anti-corruption law, apparently referring to such a legislation brought by his government in early seventies, which was subsequently repelled by AIADMK founder late M G Ramachandran when he became the Chief Minister.

"I leave it to your guess on bringing the Prime Minister under the Lokpal bill'', Karunanidhi said.

On Anna Hazare, Karunanidhi said he will support good action against corruption. However, he ruled out supporting those who have ulterior motives.
