A video, reportedly from a virtual Delhi High Court virtual proceeding, has gone viral on social media — but not for any legal exchange or judicial remark, but instead shows a lawyer allegedly engaging in inappropriate behavior during the online hearing of a case.

The video, widely shared, has sparked outrage and raised concerns about professional conduct. The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday and the court was not in session and people were waiting for the Judge to come.

The footage shows the lawyer sitting in his room in court attire. A woman in a saree is seen standing in front of him. The lawyer then appears to grab her hand and pull her closer. The woman seems hesitant and tries to resist, but the lawyer proceeds to give her a peck before she steps back.

A closer look at a screenshot of the hearing shows a sub-window that says 'Court of HMJ Jyoti Singh'.

The video quickly went viral on social media, drawing widespread condemnation. Users expressed shock and outrage. “Such a shame," one user wrote.

Another commented, “I have no faith in our judicial system.”
