Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Azam Khan is facing the troll brigade on social media after getting dismissed for a golden duck during the T20 World Cup 2024 match against the US on Thursday.

Khan faced a lot of criticism both from fans and experts over his performance in the recently-concluded series against England and his position in the T20 World Cup squad, where he recorded his second-straight dismissal for a duck. During Pakistan's T20 World Cup opener, he came out to bat with his team under pressure and was dismissed after an LBW by Nosthush Kenjige on the first delivery. Azam Khan was slammed for his form by fans on social media who also triggered a debate on nepotism since he is the son of former Pakistan captain Moin Khan.
