Apple's iPhone 15 Pro phones have made it easier and cheaper to replace the fragile glass on the back of the phones.

According to 9to5Mac, the prices for glass back replacements for the iPhone 15 Pro start at $169 (roughly Rs 14,000). The Pro Max replacement will cost you $199 (approx. Rs 16,000).

Compared to the prices for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, which stand at $499 (approx. Rs. 40,000) and $549 (roughly Rs 45,000), this is much cheaper.

It is important to note that the Indian Apple Support website does not reflect this pricing so far  As things stand, it will cost you Rs 30,500 to replace the back on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro, while the Pro Max variants of both phones will charge Rs 37,900.

If you have the AppleCare+ plan, replacements for both phones will cost Rs 2,500.

The reason back replacements are now cheaper for the iPhone 15 Pro is because of the titanium chassis, which makes it easier to remove the back glass panel for easy repairs. Now if only Apple could hurry up and make those pricing changes for India.
