Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G all set for March 29 India launch

Tecno Pova 6 Pro will arrive in India on March 29.

One of the many smartphones that caught our attention at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona in February 2024 was Tecno’s upcoming device. Tecno showed off the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G at MWC 2024. The brand has confirmed that the device will keep its date with the Indian market on March 29, 2024. The device is the successor to the Tecno Pova 5 Pro that landed with a starting price of around Rs 15,000. It will be interesting to see if Tecno opts for a similar pricing strategy for the Pova 6 Pro 5G.

Gamer friendly: Tecno has pitched the Pova 6 Pro as a well-priced device for serious gamers. It has unveiled a collaboration with the world's first gaming entertainment show Media Rusk Playground Season 3. This show will stream on Amazon miniTV. Tecno has also announced that the first unboxing will take place on the show.

Under the hood: The Pova 6 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. It features 12GB of RAM (that can be expanded virtually) that teams up with 256GB of internal storage.

LED bling: It’s not the first time we’ve seen LED lights on the back of a smartphone. The Pova 6 Pro will use LED strips (210 Mini LED beads according to Tecno) to add to its aesthetic and also for alerts. The device is likely to debut in two colours including a striking ‘Comet Green’

Massive battery: Tecno has already announced that the device will weigh under 200 gm, despite a massive 6000 mAh battery. The device will also feature a 70W charger in the box, that will power the device in 50 minutes.

Other highlights: The device will flaunt a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display that will feature a 120Hz refresh rate. It will come with a triple rear cam that will be headlined by a 108MP primary lens and complemented by a 32MP selfie shooter.
