Samsung Galaxy M31s launched in India with 6,000 mAh battery, 64 MP Quad Cameras

Samsung just dropped the Galaxy M31s is India. The phone debuts in the country’s sub-20K segment and offers a slight upgrade over the Galaxy 31, which launched earlier this year. The Galaxy M31s boasts a quad-camera setup, a large AMOLED display, and a massive battery.

The Samsung Galaxy M31s starts from Rs 19,499 in India for the 6GB/128GB variant. The phone is also available in an 8GB/128GB configuration for Rs 21,499. The Samsung Galaxy M31s will go on sale on August 6 through Amazon India and Samsung’s e-store.

The Samsung Galaxy M31s is powered by the Exynos 9611 chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDRx RAM and 128GB of storage. Storage can be expanded up to 512GB using the microSD card slot. The M31s sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with 420 nits of peak brightness. The panel sports a 91-percent screen-to-body ratio and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

In optics, the Galaxy M31s boasts a quad-camera setup with a 64 MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor at the helm. The other three cameras include a 12 MP, f/2.2 ultrawide shooter, a 5 MP depth sensor, and a 5 MP macro camera. The hole-punch notch on the front houses a 32 MP selfie shooter. Both the front and rear cameras on the M31s support video recording in 4K resolution.

The Galaxy M31s packs a 6,000 mAh battery with a 25W fast charging adapter included in the box. The phone also supports reverse wired charging, with a USB Type-C to Type-C cable included in the box. The M31s run on Android 10 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI skin. The phone is available in two colour options – Mirage Blue and Mirage Black.
