OnePlus 12, 12R launch confirmed for January 23

OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 12 and 12R on January 23, in an event scheduled for 7:30 pm in India. The smartphones have already been launched in China.

Besides the phones, the company will also launch the OnePlus Buds 3 at the event.

Rumours suggest that the phone will be priced starting at Rs 64,999 in India, for the base 12GB RAM variant, while the 16GB RAM model will cost Rs 69,999. The phone is expected to go on sale starting January 30 in India.

Specifications

The OnePlus 12 will have a 6.82-inch quad-HD OLED ProXDR display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone will run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The OnePlus 12R will have a slightly smaller AMOLED screen at 6.78-inch with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The 12R will make use of the slightly older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

The OnePlus 12 will supposedly ship with a 5400 mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging, while the 12R will have a slightly smaller 5000mAh battery.
