Chinese phonemaker OnePlus has updated its OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 12 handsets with new AI features, which are available only in China for now.
New updates to the company's ColorOS operating system add features like the Remover Tool that can erase unwanted subjects from photos or a Summariser tool, which can generate notes and action items from phone calls.

These updates were found by Reddit user u/milkyteapls and @MishaalRahman on X in the changelogs for the latest versions of the operating systems.
These include changes to The Breeno Touch app, which works like Google's search app that can display relevant information based on what is on screen.
OnePlus has also added a "device motion and orientation" permission that will ask users if they want apps to recognise device orientation.
OnePlus has also added a recording indicator that alerts if a screen recording is in process.

The global versions of both phones run a different operating system (OxygenOS) and there is no news, so far, if these features will roll out to the rest of the world.
Other quality of “life improvements” include the ability to unlock the phone without turning on the screen, and controlling music playback with always-on display.
