Nokia unveils Lumia 1520, 2520, 3 Asha phones

At an event in Nokia World, Abu Dhabi the company rolled out smartphones and tablets and low-cost phones along with their prices.

Stephen Elop, president and CEO, Nokia unveiled the 6-inch Lumia 1520, Windows-based Lumia 2520 tablet, low-cost Lumia 1320, three new Asha phones and some new accessories today at Nokia World, Abu Dhabi.

The much-awaited Nokia Lumia 1520 has 6-inch HD screen, 32 GB memory on board with a microSD slot with a 64 GB limit. It will first be launched in Hong Kong and USA and is priced at USD 749. Nokia Tablet Lumia 2520 will boast of 6.7 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera. It will provide offline map features, will have Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook and run on Windows RT 8.1. The other features include two USB ports and 15-16 hours battery life. 

The company also unveiled 4G Lumia 1320 device, which will be available in vibrant colours and will have 6-inch screen. Priced at USD 339, this device will be launched in China and Vietnam first.

The cell-phone major added three new devices to its popular Asha series Nokia Asha 500 , 501 and 503 to be priced at USD 69, USD 89 and USD 99. Nokia Asha sales have exceeded USD 26 million.
