Earlier this week, Microsoft announced partnerships with Coca-Cola and Cognizant highlighting how AI is changing the way organisations work. According to Microsoft, in India organisations are using AI tools like Copilot to enhance their workflow and operations.
In a blog post, Judson Althoff, executive vice president and chief commercial officer, embracing AI has become a priority for organisations around the world seeking to unlock new opportunities. “We continue co-innovating directly with customers on our open cloud platform to bend the curve on innovation by identifying AI design patterns; then integrating and applying data to solve their most pressing challenges faster and more efficiently than ever before,” Althoff said in a blog post.
Citing the example of Air India, Althoff said that the national carrier of India has built a plugin to gain real-time access to flight and operations data to empower better decision-making. The Copilot plugin lets Air India team members understand complex data about flights, equipment, locations, and facilities through familiar natural language commands.
Meesho is another organisation, which Althoff, said is using AI tools aggressively. As per Althoff, Meesho is using a generative AI chat agent to increase inquiry resolution by 40% and customer satisfaction by 25%. It is also “leveraging GitHub Copilot to streamline code delivery and testing for its 200+ developers,” Althoff said.
Wipro has made a $1 billion investment to advance AI proficiency at the company over the next three years. Across Wipro, Copilot in Microsoft Teams has been well-received, said Saiprasad Jammulapati, global Head of the Office of the CIO and CIO for Europe, Wipro, in a blog post. “We have a large hybrid workforce and Copilot in Teams has been a big success,” said Jammulapati.
