Microsoft’s Copilot can now edit images it generates, as the tech giant overhauls the design of its AI assistant.
The update enhances the experience on copilot.microsoft.com and the Copilot app on iOS and Android.
The revamped interface now displays a carousel that showcases AI-generated images and the text prompts used to create them.
The text field for prompts has been moved to the bottom of the screen.

Copilot Pro subscribers will get the added ability to resize and regenerate images.
Microsoft will soon roll out Designer GPT within Copilot.
DesignerGPT is a plugin that allows users to create and design a website without leaving the chat window.
In the one year since Copilot has been online, it has already hosted 5 billion chats and led to the creation of 5 billion images on the platform, the company said.
"AI is the defining technology of our time. Microsoft’s advancements in AI align with our company mission to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more," Microsoft said in the announcement.
On a two-day visit in Mumbai, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said the company wants to be the "copilot" for India. He said that India has a tremendous opportunity for general purpose technology such as AI and Generative AI.
