Intel shared an updated roadmap for the expected release of its Arc GPUs at its annual investor meeting. The company plans a rollout of the first set of discrete Arc GPUs for laptops in Q1 2022, while the desktop variant of the GPU will start shipping sometime in Q2 2022.
Intel also announced "Project Endgame," a streaming service that allows customers to play games by renting GPUs for cloud gaming, similar to Nvidia's GeForce Now Subscriptions that allow users to stream games using a RTX 3080 equipped datacenter for a monthly fee. Intel said the streaming service will be accessible and will have low-latency.

So far there are no details on what GPUs Intel plans to offer, or the price tiers they will be offered at, but the company said that the service will launch sometime this year, though a clear timeframe wasn't given.
You’ve all been patient, and the first wave of #IntelArc GPUs are launching soon for notebooks. Desktops and workstations will soon follow! https://t.co/rXgX9dGEL1pic.twitter.com/F6ubSUzSHM— Intel Graphics (@IntelGraphics) February 17, 2022
Besides these, Intel has also begun work on a third-generation of Arc GPUs codenamed 'Celestial'. 'Alchemist' will be the company's first generation that will arrive this year, followed by 'Battlemage', which is currently in the works.
The Celestial GPUs, when they arrive, will aim for the ultra-enthusiast market, which means we will have to wait a while before Intel is ready to take on the likes of AMD and Nvidia, and compete in the premium market.
