Apple is gearing up to launch the Apple iPhone 16 series this year and the rumour mill has been buzzing in the past few weeks. As per the latest rumour, popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has stated that Apple is likely to offer the higher-end iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models in Black, White/Silver, Natural Titanium, and a new Rose Titanium colour options.
He posted this information on X (formerly known as Twitter) and said theat the existing Blue Titanium colour should be discontinued after introducing the Rose Titanium colour. Further, 9to5Mac has reported that there could also be a new purple colour variant of the upcoming Apple iPhone 16 Plus.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are also expected to come in a variety of vibrant colour options, including black, green, pink, blue, and white. This marks a slight change from the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, which were available in black, green, pink, blue, and yellow.
Kuo has also hinted that Apple might rename some of the existing colors, similar to how the company rebranded the standard White to Starlight in the Apple iPhone 13 series. He also expects that Apple will use stainless steel for the first time in the iPhone 16 series’s battery enclosure to offer more rigidity in the entire construction.
The iPhone 16 lineup is expected to be officially announced in September 2024. Its design will mostly resemble their iPhone 15 counterparts, although we might get a vertically straight dual-camera module on the 15 and 15 Plus from the diagonal cameras placement on the earlier iPhone 15 series.
