IBM Advances Storage Capabilities With Butterfly Software Acquisition

Butterfly offers storage planning software and storage migration tools, helping companies save storage space, operational time, IT budget and power consumption.

IBM has announced that it has acquired Butterfly Software Ltd., a privately held data analysis and migration software company headquartered in Maidenhead, England. Financial terms were not disclosed. Butterfly will become part of IBM's Software Group.
