Microsoft has launched the ‘YouWeCan’ app exclusively for the Windows Phone, thereby pledging its support to Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s cancer awareness initiative ‘YouWeCan Fight Cancer’. As per an official statement by the company, the application is a 'A try and buy App'. YouWeCan is priced at Rs. 565, which gives users an opportunity to contribute their bit to fight cancer most directly, as this is what one Cancer detection costs. The company claims that buying the app may help the user save at least one life without having to do much! In addition to that, users can also donate money or volunteer time with the Yuvraj Singh Foundation or use the App to buy YouWeCan T-shirts, Caps and Ribbons. To begin with, users will have to go to Windows Marketplace and download the YouWeCan application - they can then proceed to contribute their bit to the cause.
