MTNL Mumbai offers night plan of up to 2Mbps download speed

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) is offering its customers in Mumbai five unlimited broadband plans with download speeds of up to 2Mbps from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. at no additional charge. The plans named DSL_Unlimited_450, DSL_Unlimited_999, DSL_Unlimited_1599, DSL_Unlimited_550_Combo, and DSL_Unlimited_995_Combo, were launched yesterday. They are valid till January 5, 2013. Those opting for MTNL's DSL_Unlimited_450 broadband plan will get download speeds of upto 512 Kbps during the day time,  i.e. from 8am to 6pm, going up to 1 Mbps from 6pm to 12am and from there on to 8am upto 2 Mbps. These customers will have to pay Monthly Service charges of Rs 450 and have an Annual Rental option of Rs 4,950. Those opting for the MTNL's DSL_Unlimited_999 broadband plan will get download speeds of upto 1.13 Mbps from 8am to 6pm, up to 1.344 Mbps from 6pm to 12am and from there on upto 2 Mbps till 8am. These customers will have to pay Monthly Service charges of Rs 999 and have an Annual Rental option of Rs 10,999.
