Naughty Dog announces release date for Last of Us

The Last of Us was one of the most interesting games to be showcased during this year's E3. According to OnlySP, Naughty Dog has announced the release date for the game during the ongoing VGA. It is set to come out on May 7, 2013.The company had released a teaser trailer earlier this week and will be releasing the story trailer on December 10. The story trailer is bound to have more information about the story. The only thing we currently know about the story is that it takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where a deadly plague has wiped out civilisation, mutating the survivors into zombie-like creatures. You play as one of two characters – Ellie, a spunky American teenager, or Joel, a hardened survivor – as they try and survive each day by scavenging ammunition and supplies. According to Naughty Dog, the game will blend survival-horror with action to create a "genre defining experience".
