It looks like People Can Fly is really out to support its latest game—Gears of War: Judgment. Just a couple of weeks after its release, the company has released a new set of maps for the multiplayer component of the game. The map pack is part of the game’s first patch and includes the Haven map as well as the Execution game mode. The earlier release date for the map pack was planned to be April 2. The map pack is free for a limited time as it is being sponsored by Maxim magazine, according to Microsoft. You can grab the DLC from either the in-game menu, the Xbox 360 Dashboard or the Xbox website. At the moment, the option to grab it off the game's matchmaking menu isn't working. The new game mode—Execution—is like the previous games' Warzone game mode. It is essentially a team deathmatch with a couple of twists here and there. The first is the time limit. The other major twist is that when you kill an enemy, they need to be executed, otherwise they can simply get back up and continue fighting. The game mode was present in Gears of War and Gears of War 2, but was curiously absent from the third game.Click here for full story
