REC to give additional Rs 995 cr loan for Teesta III hydel

Due to a cost overrun of about Rs 2700 crore, the Rural Electrification Corporation of India has decided to infuse fresh funds into the Teesta Stage III hydroelectric power project in North Sikkim.
