Tata Motors has signed pacts with e-commerce companies for manufacturing as many as 39,000 Tata Ace electric vehicles (EVs).
Available in two variants, the flat bed variant is priced at Rs 3.99 lakh, while the half deck load body variant is tagged at Rs 4.10 lakh.
Tata Ace Gold is the first variant of the first four-wheel mini truck, popularly known as 'chhota hathi', since its launch in May 2005.
The Ace platform since the launch in 2005 has so far rolled out 15 variants, based on engine type, engine power and body configurations, the company said in a statement today.
