Jain, who was part of the eight-member interim Executive Committee, will now take over full executive powers. The committee, formed last month to ensure business continuity after the exit of MD and CEO T Koshy, has now been dissolved.
The network is set to roll out full-suite of B2B and B2C financial services including insurance, mutual funds and credit cards; and some unique ones like crop yield financing and cow financing.
ONDC also plans to introduce GST invoice financing loans by the end of September. A lineup of other products is also in development, including purchase financing for individuals and sole proprietors, as well as working capital lines for partnerships and private limited companies.

Koshy also said that ONDC is working to bring financial products to the network, and this is expected to happen in the next couple of months.
With the beta testing expansion, the network will go live in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
During the testing phase, two network participants, Rapidor and Signcatch, processed around 160 B2B transactions on ONDC in the last one week.
ONDC is working towards digitizing and supporting grassroots-level entrepreneurs and local retailers, and making them a beneficiary of India's e-commerce revolution.
ONDC's CEO T Koshy said that the discounts they are providing small incentives to the merchants to bring their catalog online as it's a cost for them. "We are trying to make good of those costs for six months to nine months, then by the time it would build up its own momentum," he said.
