Gas price hike to impact generation costs: India Ratings

India Ratings & Research (Ind-Ra) estimates the fuel cost per unit for natural gas based power generation to increase by 56 percent to INR3.41/kWh, if domestic gas prices were to increase to USD6.775/mmbtu from the current USD4.2/mmbtu.
