The growth in sales in the previous month came as the demand for advanced tractors continues to see an uptick across the industry, it said in the statement.
Sonalika Group Executive Director Raman Mittal said the company was able post healthy growth despite the challenging situation due to a slew of measures taken to enhance the bond with its channel partners, customers and community.
During the year, the company sold 69,290 units in the domestic market, clocking an increase of 18 per cent from the previous fiscal, Sonalika ITL said in a statement.
Tractor maker Sonalika ITL today reported a 20.3 percent growth in total sales at 5,169 units in December 2016.
Founded in 1969 as an agricultural machines’ manufacturer, the Sonalika group forayed in tractors in 1996. A decade later, third generation entrepreneur Raman Mittal decided to join the business to steer it forward.
