According to a company source, HoABL expects to set up hospitality projects at each of its large, plotted development projects across India.

The company has recently concluded the acquisition of over 352 acres across Vrindavan, Varanasi, Amritsar, Shimla, Nagpur, and Khopoli (near Mumbai).
The report said that 462 plots were sold till the end of July 2024 across various plotted developments in the Raigad district, which includes hotspots such as Karjat, Khopoli, the seaside resort of Alibaug, as well as various towns and villages around it.
The company has acquired nearly 76 acres of land for the project, named World Villa, in Chowk near Panvel. Arihant also plans to launch projects in Taloja, Khopoli, Panvel, Kalyan, Badlapur, Karjat, Shilphata, Titwala, and one plotted development project in Karjat in the next few months.
The company claimed that out of 900 plots, as many as 436 plots have already been sold, with overall sales value of Rs 250 crore. The RERA license for phase-I has been achieved for 50 acres.
The company is also looking to launch two luxury projects in Powai where it has 13 acres of unused land.
While plotted homes have the advantage of getting delivered faster, buyers need to do their due diligence with regard to the land title. They also need to be wary of issues relating to basic amenities.
Despite slowing sales in June, Dinesh Gupta, COO of Ansal Properties holds their FY13 sales guidance at 18 million sq feet. The strategy of moving from plotted development to the built-up segment is leading to the reduction in sales volumes, explains Gupta.
