Yesterday, the Indian currency crumbled to its life-time low. Today, the rupee bounced over 1% after suspected RBI intervention. Partho Mukherjee of Axis Bank doesn’t see the rupee going to Rs 54-55 per dollar level in the near-term.
One such voice is Partho Mukherjee of Axis Bank. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, he says repeated intervention by the apex bank could help stem this downslide in our currency.
Partho Mukherjee of Axis Bank in an interview to CNBC-TV18 said the situation in Europe and Greece could be a problem for all currencies including rupee. If something drastic happens in Greece then more volatility and weakness could be seen in rupee.
