Kerala HC rejects anticipatory bail pleas of M Sivasankar in gold smuggling case

The Court passed the order on two separate anticipatory bail pleas filed by M Sivasankar apprehending arrest by Customs investigating the gold smuggling and ED probing the money trail in the case.

Strongly opposing the anticipatory bail plea, the ED on Friday submitted that the custodial interrogation of the officer was required as he was not cooperating with the investigation.

Apprehending arrest by the ED, M Sivasankar who is facing probe in connection with the case, had moved the court on Wednesday seeking anticipatory bail.
