SC dimisses TN govt plea against GAIL LNG pipeline

The Supreme Court today dismissed a plea by the Tamil Nadu government against GAIL's Kochi-Mangalore liquefied natural gas pipeline and quashed the state government's notification that had sought its re-alignment.

According to AK Balyan, Kerala government has taken the initiative to start the Kochi-Mangalore pipeline soon and the company is confident of significant progress by the end of this financial year.
