    • Airlines ask ministry to wait for SC order on ground policy

      Airline companies are in a huge dilemma with the government's announcement of implementation of the new ground handling policy on April 1. Private airlines have written to civil aviation secretary Nasim Zaidi on ground handling policy asking the ministry to wait till April 4 for the Supreme Court's directives on the same.

    • GVK to boost capacity at Bangalore international airport

      In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Sanjay Reddy, vice chairman of GVK Power & Infra said, "Terminal I is being expanded. Hopefully, by next month end or by May we'll start construction. It will take 18 months from there. We will be just a little less than double the capacity."
