      Oil Minister Veerappa Moily clarified that there was no such proposal to keep petrol pumps from 8 pm to 8 am. Speaking to IBN18's Editor-in-Chief Rajdeep Sardesai, Moily said that people must be coining ideas. It does not mean that the ministry initiated the proposal.

      Oil Minister Veerappa Moily on Monday clarified that the proposal to shut petrol pumps during the night has not been made. He said that the idea had come from the public and others and no such decision has been taken.
