Moily walked from his residence at 3, Tughlak Lane, to the Race Course Metro Station, where he boarded a Yellow Line train and alighted two stops later at the Central Secretariat station, a short walk from Shastri Bhawan, the seat of the Oil Ministry.
Oil Minister Veerappa Moily clarified that there was no such proposal to keep petrol pumps from 8 pm to 8 am. Speaking to IBN18's Editor-in-Chief Rajdeep Sardesai, Moily said that people must be coining ideas. It does not mean that the ministry initiated the proposal.
