Uttar Pradesh election 2022: 52% Samajwadi Party candidates in third phase, 46% from BJP have criminal cases against them

Uttar Pradesh Assembly election 2022: In all, 135 (22 percent) of 623 candidates in the third phase have criminal cases filed against them, according to an analysis of affidavits by the Association for Democratic Reforms and Uttar Pradesh Election Watch.

More than a fourth (26%) of the candidates contesting the 2022 Goa Assembly elections have criminal cases against them, 62% candidates are crorepatis, and 42% are college graduates or higher.
