Love of heritage: The courtyard houses of Chettinad’s Tamil bankers

Kanadukathan, around 15km from Karaikudi, is the best places to admire the heritage houses, built between the mid-1800s and early 1900s, of the Chettiyar community, who were traditionally bankers and businessmen.
