Speaking at Pandit Hriday Nath Kunzru Memorial Lectures held at Jawaharlal Nehru University, he said that India is reshaping the global order. "Let me start with my understanding of what is Bharat. It has multiple symbolisms in multiple domains. Economically, we can be talking about an Atmanirbhar Bharat that has the connotation of certain resilience, self-sufficiency, contribution, or talent that is expressing itself". He added that on the political front Bharat symbolises independence asserting India’s sovereignty and autonomy in international affairs. Watch.
