The mortal remains of Kumar would be placed at his residence in Basavanagudifor the entire day today, state BJP General Secretary N RaviKumar said in a statement.

Kumar's statement comes after Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy had shot off a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday.
"Parliamentary business has been affected since Rahul Gandhi became president of the Congress. He has no experience in the legislative work," the parliamentary affairs minister said.
