A fox in Washington DC has been “humanely euthanised” after biting nine people, including Indian-American congressman Ami Bera.
The goal, which might look difficult, was set by the three-term Indian-American Congressman Ami Bera, who is now the senior-most of the four Indian-Americans members in the US House of Representatives.
Indian-American women put up a good show in the 2016 elections, with Kamala Harris, 51, a two-term attorney general from California, creating history by winning the US Senate seat from the state.
"As Co-Chairmen of the House India Caucus, we offer support to the people and government of India and vow to stand together as the US and India address the shared challenge of combating region and global terrorism," their statement said.
"This trip to Silicon Valley will help showcase the exciting contributions Indians and Indian-Americans make to the US technology industry," Congressman Ami Bera, Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus for India and Indian Americans, said.
Bera will be part of the delegation travelling this Saturday to New Delhi where they will attend Republic Day events and meet with Indian leaders to discuss strengthening and expanding the US-India strategic partnership
