A rankled BS Yeddyurappa hit out at Congress after news of the JD(S)-Congress alliance became public

BJP's BS Yeddyurappa will be sworn-in as Karnataka's chief minister today after the Supreme Court refused to stay the Governor's decision.

With Congress and JD(S) stitching an alliance to pip BJP, the mood in the saffron party is of disappointment and despair.

A rankled BS Yeddyurappa hit out at Congress after news of the JD(S)-Congress alliance became public.

"Congress has no moral right to claim power. I condemn the back-door politics by Congress," he told reporters at a press conference.

“Despite being rejected, Congress is trying to grab power. People have rejected the Congress and accepted BJP. People are moving towards a Congress-mukt Karnataka,” Yeddyurappa added.
