SEBI's delisting regulation changes are of little help to promoters and investors
Recent changes are peripheral. They don’t address the issue of pricing – the key reason why delisting attempts are failing.

Over the last couple of years that have been more cases of delisting attempts failing than being successful. The only success story has been Hexaware, where private equity player Baring was desperate to delist as the company as its fund which held shares in the software maker was closing.
