The Competition Commission of India (CCI) on Wednesday imposed Rs 6,700 crore penalty on 11 cement companies and their lobby group Cement Manufacturers Association (CMA) for alleged cartelization and price collusion.
Mangalam Cement reported good Q1 FY17 numbers. Yaswant Mishra, President - Corp & CFO of Mangalam Cement expects the demand to improve post monsoon season.
The company is also looking to improve its EBITDA from Rs 390/tn in the last quarter to Rs 700/tn going ahead.
