Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday wrote to the Centre seeking suitable accomodation for Arvind Kejriwal, who will have to vacate the Delhi chief minister's residence following his resignation earlier this week.
AAP MP Raghav Chadha said that the party demands a government accomodation for Kejriwal and hoped that it won't have to fight a legal battle for it.
"I hope we will not have to fight a legal battle for this. Kejriwal decided to resign for the sake of his morals and will move out of his official residence," he said.

On Tuesday, Kejriwal tendered his resignation as the chief minister of Delhi and chose Atishi as his successor.
Kejriwal will have to give up all government facilities, including security, and move out of his official residence—6, Flagstaff Road bungalow—within 15 days of resigning.
Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav Thursday termed former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's promise to leave his official residence a "big drama" staged to mislead people.
He said he should have left the house as soon as he quit. Yadav claimed that Kejriwal quit as CM because he knew that he would face a rout in the Assembly elections in early 2025.
If Kejriwal was really keen to leave his official residenceat the Civil Lines area, he should have vacated it immediately after he quit as the CM without creating a big drama to mislead the people, Yadav alleged.
Earlier, during a press conference, AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh said that one of the first things Kejriwal talked about after submitting his resignation was his decision to leave the official residence of the Delhi chief minister.
