Addressing an election rally in Bihar's Sheohar on Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will establish defence corridor in Bihar, set up factories in each district, and build Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and industrial parks.

Continuing his campaign trail in Bihar, Shah made a slew of poll promises. He said Mithilanchal will be developed as global knowledge centre at a cost of Rs 500 crore.

He said Sitamarhi-Ayodhya Ramjanaki Path will be built at Rs 550 crore and Rs 5,000 crore will be spent on doubling Ayodhya Sitamarhi rail track.

Shah also claimed that Rs 11,000 crore projects are underway to contain floods in Mithila-Koshi and added that industrial park will be set up on 505 acres at Sonbarsha Nanpur.

The home minister said that the ground-breaking ceremony for Rs 850-crore Sita temple at Punaura Dham in Sheohar has been performed, adding that the government will launch Vande Bharat train from Sitamarhi to Ayodhya on its consecration day.

"If the Sita Mata temple isn't built after the Ram temple, will the work be considered complete?... Now, a grand Sita Mata temple is being constructed at a cost of Rs 850 crore. On the day of Sita Mata temple's 'prana pratishtha', we will also launch the Vande Bharat Train from Sitamarhi to Ayodhya... This will also benefit Bihar's tourism," Shah said.

Claiming that the NDA government is set to be formed in Bihar, he said RJD will be "wiped out by 1 pm on November 14 when poll results are declared."

“On November 14, the counting of ballot papers will begin at 8 AM, your votes will start being counted by 9 AM, and by 1 PM, the parties of Lalu and Rahul will be wiped out. The NDA will form the government," Shah said.

He took a swipe at the Mahagathbandhan coalition of Congress, RJD and other parties and said, 'the ‘Mahathugbandhan’ is scattered, while the NDA stands united like the Pandavas.”

Stepping up his attack on the Mahagathbandhan, Shah claimed that under previous governments, Pakistani terrorists "used to sneak into India every day".

"Did Congress and Lalu ever respond to them? They would feed them biryani instead," he said.

The home minister said when Uri was attacked, the government conducted a surgical strike, adding, "when the Pulwama attack happened, we conducted airstrikes, and when Pahalgam was attacked, within 10 days, we entered Pakistan and eliminated the terrorists with Operation Sindoor."

"If bullets are fired from there, the answer will be with shells from here. After a defence corridor is built here, these will be built on the land of Bihar and Mithila," Shah said.

Shah PM Modi sanctioned Rs 18.70 lakh crore to Bihar in 10 years compared to Rs 2.80 lakh crore during Lalu's rule.

"NDA will transform Patna, Darbhanga, Purnea, Bhagalpur airports into global standards and each district will have a medical college," Shah said.
